Would anyone who is not incredibly stubborn, stand on the edge of a beach facing certain death? All because he wants to stand up and fight and not get on the boat! That is exactly what Flint Fire Forge did in the Dragon Lance series. This shows his stubbornness, because he would rather die than do anything he that he wouldn’t do willingly. Flint shows his Stubbornness, by not going on the boat even if it would save his life. Flint is faced with certain death in this part of the book! He is on a beach with goblin archers and swordsman closing in on him. He lived but only because he was knocked out by his friend and carried onto the boat. Flint Fire Forge is a stubborn Dwarf and one of the main characters in the series of Dragon Lance. He is a blacksmith who they met the others a long time ago and they asked him to join there group. He said yes, but that is a separate book of the back stories on these characters. In the first book, the first five pages are the characters meeting and Flint gets there pulls up a chair and starts drinking. But I’m off topic, I’m here to tell you about his stubbornness and as he calls it dwarf pride. Even in the first pages at the tavern, which is an old fashion bar. There surrounded and don’t have a chance of winning. They have to leave to survive, but he wants to stay there and fight even with the odds of certain death dwindling upon him. There are many more of these moments in the book, but that would take a long time to explain. So in the end I don't know if it’s just Flint who is stubborn.
